Employment Lawyer – 2 to 5 Years' PQE

Are you an Employment Lawyer with 2 to 5 years' PQE looking for an exciting opportunity in Aberdeen? We are working with a top-tier Employment team that is looking for a talented Associate to join its dynamic group. This role offers excellent career progression and the chance to work with a diverse range of high-profile clients.

About the Team:

This team is highly regarded for its expertise and extensive experience. It provides comprehensive national and international coverage, working with leading FTSE blue-chip organisations. The team is known for delivering strategic, pragmatic legal advice and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Offer strategic employment law advice and manage complex employment tribunal claims
  2. Handle cross-border issues, restructuring, redundancy and senior-level grievances, including discrimination and whistleblowing complaints
  3. Advise on executive-level employment matters such as recruitment, termination, compensation arrangements, bonus claims, team moves and enforcement of restrictive covenants
  4. Engage in high-value and High Court litigation
  5. Support clients in M&A and outsourcing projects

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in employment law within a commercial practice
  2. Strong technical and market knowledge
  3. Experience with strategic employment law advice and complex tribunal claims
  4. Excellent communication skills and a team player
  5. Commercially aware with an understanding of large international firm operations
  6. Strong academic background
