Your new role

As an Employment Lawyer, you’ll provide expert legal advice and representation on a wide range of employment matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Handling Employment Tribunal cases and advising on TUPE
  2. Supporting HR teams and senior officers with complex employment law issues
  3. Drafting and negotiating legal documents and settlements
  4. Managing a varied caseload with autonomy and professionalism
  5. Contributing to the development of legal services across the partnership

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  1. To be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  2. At least 5 years PQE in employment law
  3. Public sector or local government experience
  4. A history of longer-term placements (6+ months), with at least 10 months in a local authority or public sector setting
  5. Strong knowledge of Employment Tribunals and TUPE
  6. The ability to attend the office once a week or fortnight, as agreed
