Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel for a 6-month contract in a London-based hybrid setup. You will advise on a broad range of UK and international employment matters while collaborating closely with senior leaders and HR.

Responsibilities include handling disputes, supporting M&A activities (including TUPE), and managing external counsel on cross-border matters. Senior stakeholder engagement is a key focus.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with circa 6+ years' PQE.
• Experience in private practice and/or in-house employment law.
• Experience handling complex and international matters.
• Commercial, pragmatic and able to work with senior executives.
• Financial services or insurance sector experience is advantageous.
