Job summary

Elevate, a well-established international financial services business, seeks an experienced Employment Lawyer (5+ PQE) to provide interim support to its in-house legal team for a 10-month period. The role focuses on employment grievances, litigation and a range of global employment law projects, with 3–4 days per week and one day in the London office.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years' PQE and strong employment law experience.
• Proven experience managing employment grievances, disputes and litigation.
• Experience supporting employment policy reviews and harmonisation projects, ideally within an international organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proactive, adaptable and commercially minded, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and manage employment grievances, complex employee relations matters and employment litigation.
• Provide practical, commercially focused employment law advice to HR teams and wider business stakeholders.
• Support the review and harmonisation of Terms of Business (TOBs) across the organisation.
• Conduct a global review of LGBTQ+ policies, identifying inconsistencies and recommending appropriate updates.
• Monitor legislative developments and advise on preparations for forthcoming regulatory changes.
• Provide flexible support across a broad range of employment law matters, adapting to changing business priorities as required.
