Employment Solicitor (1-5 years')
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join a well-established and forward-thinking Employment Law team based in Edinburgh.

This role offers the chance to work with high-profile employers and senior executives across Scotland on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. It’s ideal for a senior solicitor who enjoys delivering practical, commercially focused advice and is looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of employment matters efficiently and independently
  • Advise on employment disputes, employee rights, contracts and internal procedures
  • Represent clients at employment tribunals and other hearings
  • Provide clear, concise advice under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to business development through networking, client seminars and marketing activity
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to support team goals


Your Profile:

  • 1-5 years’ PQE with a strong background in employment law
  • Comfortable advising large employers and handling complex matters
  • Experience across both contentious and advisory work
  • Strong communication skills and a commercial approach
  • Interest in contributing to client development and mentoring junior team members
