Employment Law Solicitor – Northampton

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Employment Law Solicitor in Northampton to join a progressive and forward-thinking law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled legal professional to take the lead on a varied caseload while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own caseload of employment law matters from initial instruction to resolution
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients, including attending employment tribunals
• Support data protection and compliance matters where required
• Guide and mentor junior members of the legal team
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
• Stay up to date with changes in employment law and best practices
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualified experience in employment law
• Strong technical knowledge across all areas of employment law and procedures
• Confidently handling a full caseload independently
• Previous experience in representing clients in tribunals
• Excellent mentoring and leadership skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a collaborative and professional legal environment
