Job Description:

Job Purpose

To provide HR and Employment Law advice to a wide variety of 35,000 clients of Peninsula throughout different sectors within Advisory across Great Britain.

Job Overview

The role requires working in a team providing legally compliant solutions to clients by telephone and email in all aspects of HR and Employment Law to support the business needs of individual clients, while highlighting non-compliant options and associated risks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  1. Ensure personal knowledge of HR and Employment Law is continually updated.
  2. Achieve eight performance aims to support clients with quality advice within set SLAs, primarily through calls and emails, tailored to caseload.
  3. Own and lead cases to resolution, building rapport with clients.
  4. Log all advice accurately into the internal system, taking ownership of ongoing cases.
  5. Provide clients with supporting documentation to implement solutions.
  6. Review client documentation, considering internal terms and conditions.
  7. Undertake and report on client visits as required.
  8. Follow protocols for managing and escalating cases for quality handovers.
  9. Communicate clearly and promptly with other specialist teams when needed.
  10. Recommend additional products and services to clients.
  11. Encourage client feedback and promote Peninsula’s online reputation.
  12. Maintain broad knowledge of employment law and HR matters.
  13. Support new consultants and deliver training as needed.
  14. Perform other tasks as directed by management.
