Job summary

Errington Legal seeks an accomplished Barrister to join its Employment practice as Employment Counsel. The role offers a choice of offices across England with hybrid working in London, Cambridge, Oxford and other locations.

You will provide confident advocacy, draft documents, advise clients and support hearings, while helping shape the firm’s advocacy strategy in a dynamic, high‑profile setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified barrister with 2–5 years post‑call experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law.
• Ambitious, driven and with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide confident advocacy in Employment Tribunals, working closely with the firm’s head of Advocacy.
• Draft relevant documents, provide advice and handle preliminary and final hearings.
• Assist in delivering client training.
• Contribute to the development and strategy of the firm’s advocacy and to a high‑profile environment.
