Employment Coordinator
Location: East Lothian

Your role, as Employment Coordinator, is to provide support to young people who have barriers to work, to make progress towards and achieve well-paid, sustainable employment. You will work in the local community engaging with young people face to face on a one-to-one and/or group basis to profile their skills and aspirations for work.

About You

We really need you to have these:

  2. Ability to build relationships with employers to offer opportunities for our young people
  3. Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise as needed
  4. Confident communicator
  5. Strong attention to detail
  6. Professional presentation and personality
  7. Some knowledge of the local community
  8. Ability to work with people at any age who have challenging barriers to employment
  9. IT literacy
  10. Comfortable working towards targets
  11. A natural, professional relationship builder
  12. A full driving licence
