Job summary

Restart Employment Coach at Acorn Training Ltd. in Melton is a permanent, full-time role within the Employability department.

You will manage a caseload, provide individual information, guidance, and job-search support to help clients secure sustainable employment, while developing materials and coordinating with local employers. You will also coach, monitor performance, and maintain accurate records to meet contractual targets, with emphasis on safeguarding and data security policies.

Qualifications

• Full NVQ Level 2 in customer service, business administration, accounting, or IT (essential)
• GCSE English Language and Mathematics (essential)
• Level 2 IT Qualification, such as ECDL (essential)
• Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification (desirable)
• IEP Accredited Sector Induction (Level 2) (desirable)
• IEP Accredited Certificate in Employability Practice (Level 3) (desirable)
• First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable)
• IOSH Health and Safety Qualification (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Manage a customer caseload to help customers move into sustainable employment
• Provide one-to-one information, advice and guidance sessions
• Prepare job search materials and differentiated products
• Work with local employers to identify opportunities
• Support and signpost customers to pastoral needs
• Provide information on learning programmes and qualifications
• Coach customers and promote positive employment behaviours
• Maintain records and monitor progress toward goals
