Primary Objective: To support and progress participants into sustainable employment, working to challenging targets, in a compliant manner, whilst adhering to Jobs 22 company values.

Key Responsibilities
As an Employment Coach, you will support individuals in progressing into their chosen careers by providing advice, support, and guidance through assessments and tailored support plans that are SMART and individualized.
You will work face-to-face with participants, coaching and supporting their journey to employment by delivering employability sessions, interview skills advice, job search techniques, rebuilding confidence after unemployment, and identifying interventions to remove barriers and enable employment. You will have monthly targets to achieve.
You will maintain participant records using the Jobs 22 CRM system and record regular contact to keep participants motivated and focused.
Using diagnostic screening, assessments, and skills analysis will be essential for providing effective guidance, helping participants explore all available options.
Familiarity with the local labour market, training opportunities, and relevant support agencies is crucial. Building relationships with local employers to understand their hiring needs and encouraging them to interview your participants is also important.
Essential/Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
• Experience in providing one-to-one support or coaching to influence personal or professional development positively.
• Experience in the employment and skills sector, delivering against targets, quality standards, and compliance measures.
• Skilled in motivational and action planning techniques to facilitate participant progression into sustainable employment.
• Empathy and confidence to engage with diverse individuals and challenge when necessary.
• Ability to handle complex cases simultaneously in a target-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet monthly targets.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate and inspire.
• Influencing skills to persuade and bring others around to your perspective.
• Good understanding of the local and regional labour markets.
• Practical knowledge of recruitment and selection processes.
• Willingness to travel locally and use digital channels such as phone, video conferencing, and email.
• Proficiency in administration, IT, and MS Office software.
• Creativity and pragmatism to thrive in a newly formed organization.
