A local employment support organization in Salisbury is seeking a full-time Employment Coordinator/Job Coach. This role focuses on guiding individuals with SEND towards meaningful employment, providing essential coaching and travel support. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer support and employment coaching, and will manage a caseload of customers to help them achieve job retention. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is essential in this position.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Salisbury area for a full-time Employment Coordinator / Job Coach to join our Wiltshire Employment Support Team (WEST).
WEST empowers individuals to find meaningful employment and participate economically while reducing dependence on support services. We are dedicated to promoting diversity in the workforce by collaborating closely with local employers. The team is part of the wider Employment and Community Skills Team, which has an established pathway to work for young people with SEND.
As an Employment Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of transforming lives. Working in a highly motivated team, you'll guide individuals with SEND to secure and maintain paid employment, while also providing vital support to their families and networks. Your responsibilities will include; undertaking travel training to enable customers to independently travel to their place of work and providing appropriate job coaching support to customers who have achieved paid employment. You will explore employment opportunities for people with disabilities and work with employers in Wiltshire to negotiate paid employment opportunities.
