CNWL are seeking an exceptional clinician to join our established Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Employment team, providing strong clinical leadership.
The post holder will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of a high-quality IPS service that is embedded into community pathways, adheres to the IPS principles and aligns to the fidelity quality framework.
The successful candidate will be an experienced clinical leader with the ability to motivate and inspire others to ensure the strategic ambitions outlined in the NHS Long Term plan are achieved in Harrow. They will have a proven track record of providing exceptional care to service users and carers while supporting staff to deliver an excellent service.
An important aspect of the role will be to champion the IPS approach within the community pathways and provide supervision, training and on-the-job mentoring to incite creativity and motivation within the team whilst remaining committed to the fidelity of the model. Strong analytical and decision-making skills will be essential.
This is a new role within the IPS team and borough senior management team, and we are dedicated to finding the right person to support the team.
To provide the clinical leadership and team management for employment specialist staff within Harrow Community Mental Health Hub.
To effectively manage a high-quality Individual Placement Support (IPS) service that is embedded into community pathways, adheres to the principles of IPS and is in line with the ‘Fidelity’ quality framework.
To monitor and manage the team’s performance guiding them individually and through a team to achieve contractual access and quality targets at a borough level.
To ensure that the team works to an agreed operational policy offering a high-quality employment support service that meets the needs of our service users, partners and stakeholders.
To assist the team manager in developing a model of working with service users with employment needs, ensuring that services are provided to the highest possible standard.
To champion and role model the IPS approach within community pathways and provide supervision, training and on-the-job mentoring in order to incite creativity and motivation within the team. To work alongside the IPS Central Team in ensuring fidelity to the model is embedded and delivered.
To hold a small caseload and role model IPS intervention whilst holding in mind clinical expertise and attention to detail. You will be expected to engage with employers and service users with an increased focus of time spent in the community.
To develop and maintain effective working partnerships with a wide range of employers that service users are interested in working with. To develop links and opportunities to drive referrals and promote the service.
To empower their team to coach, motivate, engage and inspire individuals to fulfil their full potential using a strength and preference-based approach to secure paid employment. To carry a small caseload of service users to role model. To help individuals to identify their best job match, produce vocational profiles and action plans and assess related support needs.
To work in partnership with other employment services in North West London to offer a joined-up approach to employment.
