The Opportunity:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Employment Associate to join a Legal 500 firm based in central London, offering a clear and structured path to progression. This is an exciting role for an experienced employment lawyer who is ready to take the next step in their career, working with prestigious clients and leading high-profile, complex employment law cases.

They are looking for a full time, London based, experienced employment lawyer, to work in their outstanding Employment department. The team acts for employers, partnerships and senior executives, on both contentious and non-contentious / advisory matters and is highly ranked for both, in Chambers and in the Legal 500.

Key Responsibilities:

If you're feeling that your current role offers limited opportunities for progression, this position could be the ideal next step. You’ll be entrusted with high-quality work and a clear path for advancement within our structured banding system, with the potential to progress from Associate to Senior Associate or from Senior Associate to Legal Director, depending on your experience at the time of joining.

From a technical perspective, you will be an experienced employment lawyer, confident in managing your own caseload with appropriate support. You should be able to clearly articulate your experience, particularly in delivering complex and high-value employment litigation and advisory work within the financial services sector, especially in Employment Tribunal matters. Experience handling cases that reach the High Court would be a distinct advantage. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate a strong track record in providing non-contentious employment advice to employer clients.
