We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of everyone, including vulnerable adults and young people. All Education and Skills appointments are subject to Safer Recruitment Procedures, including a DBS check and a social media check, conducted by Due Diligence Limited (DDC Ltd) on behalf of GC. The successful candidate will not pay for these checks.
If you are on the Barred List, it is against the law to apply for roles involving regulated activity with the concerned group.
We aim to increase workforce diversity and provide a guaranteed interview to applicants who meet essential requirements, including candidates with disabilities or from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
You can request consideration under this scheme if you are from an ethnic community or have a long-term impairment affecting daily activities. If you meet the criteria, you will be invited for an interview. Your guaranteed interview application will be shared only with the Hiring Manager and our Internal Recruitment Team.
We support the Ban the Box campaign, removing conviction questions at the application stage to open opportunities for people with convictions.
GC promotes a culture of flexibility and agile working, with many roles transitioning to full agile working. We encourage discussions about flexible working arrangements during interviews to consider your needs early.
