Halifax Opportunities Trust is seeking an Employment Advisor to support individuals facing barriers, managing a caseload and building relationships with partners.
This full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, is based at Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre and includes a salary of £30,000 per annum, with a focus on helping disabled people, those with health conditions and other complex cases find and sustain work.
Halifax Opportunities Trust is looking for a motivated and compassionate Employment Advisor to join our team, supporting individuals facing multiple and complex barriers.
We are a partner engaged with Calderdale Council on the delivery of on the governments "Get Britain Working" Supported Employment Programme. This is a voluntary employment support initiative to support disabled people, those with health conditions, and individuals facing complex barriers to employment find and stay in work.
This is a rewarding and varied role, working closely with people to build confidence, address challenges and achieve meaningful progress. You will manage your own caseload, delivering personalised support and working in partnership with a wide range of local services and employers. The role will work in line with the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF), using a person-centred approach to support individuals towards sustainable employment.
