Job summary

A supportive employment agency in Portsmouth seeks an Employment Specialist to help ex-offenders reintegrate into the workforce. You'll assist clients with CV writing, job searching, and interview preparation in a creative environment designed for wellbeing. Experience in a related role is preferred. This is a full-time, office-based position, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00.

Qualifications

Overview

This isn't your typical employment support role. Imagine helping people back into work, but doing so in a space designed around wellbeing, creativity, and second chances. We're talking pool tables, a café area, wellness rooms, a music studio, an arts room, and cooking classes.

About the project

This project has been custom-built to support ex-offenders with rehabilitation. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team of specialist support workers helping clients with housing, healthcare, education, and wellbeing. With you being the employment specialist for the project—the go-to on all things employment support. The role is based in Portsmouth.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload with disclosure letters, CV writing, job searching, and interview preparation, helping clients take the next step back into employment.

Experience / Qualifications

• Ideally, you\'ll have worked in a similar position—perhaps as an Employment Advisor, Careers Advisor, Job Coach, or Recruitment Consultant.
