KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.

Job Title:Employment Adviser / Recruiter

Location:Centre based

Salary:£31,700

Package:Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension + Much More!

Type:x2 roles available – x1 Full Time, Permanent and x1 Part Time, Permanent (16 hours)

The Role:

  • Engage, motivate and support unemployed participants through to gaining sustainable employment – adhering to the Individual Placement and Support approach.
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders/local employers, to source employment opportunities for individuals on your caseload.
  • Maintain employer relationships and employer engagement databases.
  • Work in partnership with your caseload to complete vocational profiles and action plans, to better understand their skills, aspirations and goals.
  • Support your caseload with the CV writing and job application process.
  • Assess the needs of each participant and provide support and guidance in line with benefits/welfare advice, disclosure of health symptoms etc.
  • Provide advice and guidance for local employers, to include: negotiating adjustments / return to work strategies etc. and maintain contact with the employer to ensure retention.
  • Maintain contact with your clients and employers, through regular workplace visits, monitoring and in-work support sessions to assist in sustaining employment.

Criteria:

  • Experience of working in a target driven environment – business development, sales, recruitment etc
  • Ideally have experience of working within a similar Employment Advisor/Coach role.
  • Must have knowledge, or experience, of employer needs and engagement.
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of working towards KPIs.
  • Must be IT literate.
  • Flexibility with travel as required.
