Why Evelyn Partners London

Our team operates from the Evelyn Partners head office, fostering collaboration among 1,600 colleagues in a modern environment.

We prioritise audit quality through regular training sessions and social events to encourage best practice sharing and teamwork. Additionally, our office is divided into smaller pastoral care teams to foster relationships and ensure a supportive culture, emphasising wellbeing.

Purpose of Role:

To lead the delivery of complex advisory and compliance projects relating to the design and implementation of employee share schemes and other incentive plans, including associated tax and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as trusted adviser and engage with clients on wider commercial and strategic issues
  • Lead a portfolio of complex advisory and compliance accounts
  • Give exceptional client service, taking the lead in managing and developing client relationships
  • Technically strong
  • Identifying new opportunities and leading on business development initiatives

Staff management and development

  • Managing a team of practitioners from Associate through to Associate Director grades
  • Work collaboratively with peers in team and across firm to ensure joined up approach
  • Involved in business development activities/profile raising locally
  • Delivering technical expertise and input to the wider practice
  • Able to identify market and client opportunities through the publication of legislative changes, delivering thought leadership where appropriate

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications :

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • A relevant qualification (such as being a chartered accountant) is desirable, although not essential.

Key Experience/Skills:

  • Extensive experience in the design and implementation of employee share schemes, including associated UK tax and reporting requirements. History of providing these services in a range of sectors and for a number of purposes, including for accounting, tax and commercial purposes.
  • Technically capable tax adviser who is able to manage complex client work.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients.
  • Strong business development skills and appetite to grow the business.
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
