Job Description: Talent Attraction Specialist

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver creative campaigns to attract top-tier candidates.
  2. Establish and embed NFU Mutual's Employee Value Proposition.
  3. Use data-driven decisions to support innovation in Talent Acquisition.
  4. Manage hybrid working arrangements, with 80% homeworking and 20% in Stratford-upon-Avon.
  5. Support the advert closing date of 19th January.

The EVP Recruitment Marketing Specialist (internally known as Talent Attraction Specialist) will oversee our employee value proposition, ensuring it is future-focused and aligned with business needs.

NFU Mutual has a dedicated in-house Talent Acquisition team that attracts top talent across the UK. As part of our growth, we now have an opportunity for a Talent Attraction Specialist to join our Head Office team.

You will partner with the Talent Acquisition team to design and deliver campaigns that attract high-quality candidates for diverse roles, including challenging-to-fill positions. Your expertise in competitor market mapping will provide insights to shape our talent strategies.

Your work will enhance NFU Mutual’s reputation as a 'Great Place to Work' and increase its visibility in the talent market. You will oversee talent pools, enabling recruiters to use these resources strategically, aligning hiring efforts with business growth and optimizing campaign conversions. You will also audit our attraction strategies and supplier performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.

You will lead the creation of a Talent Attraction Toolkit and sourcing advertising materials, ensuring compliance with legal standards and brand consistency. Using channels like job boards, social media, and partnerships, you’ll deploy effective sourcing strategies. Analyzing performance data, you’ll identify new channels and innovative techniques to improve recruitment efforts.

As a key contributor to developing the Employee Value Proposition, you will create attraction dashboards to measure impact and ROI. Ensuring recruitment practices promote diversity and inclusion, you will contribute to a positive candidate experience, supporting all candidates throughout their journey. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact at NFU Mutual and shape our organizational future.

This position is based at our Tiddington Head Office near Stratford-upon-Avon. We support work-life balance with excellent facilities and flexible working, allowing up to 80% remote work.

About you:

You will have extensive experience in defining and embedding EVP and attraction strategies, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, you communicate clearly and listen actively to align on goals. Your collaboration skills enable you to deliver results through others. Attention to detail ensures high-quality work in copywriting, proofreading, and campaign oversight. You will have a proactive, strategic mindset, analyzing data trends to inform decisions and adapt to hiring demands. Curious about all aspects of business and recruitment technology, you strive to provide excellent service to the TA team, Hiring Managers, and HR colleagues.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in EVP development, attraction strategies, and recruitment best practices.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Expertise in digital media campaigns and paid media channels.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder and supplier relationships, including recruitment agencies.
  • Skills in cost and resource negotiation within budgets.
  • Capability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation to ensure compliance.
