Job summary

A reputable care provider is seeking an ER Specialist to lead employee relations across various sites. This on-site and remote role involves providing expert HR guidance and working closely with leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, familiarity with employment law, and excellent communication skills. A CIPD qualification is preferred. Competitive salary of up to £60,000 DOE.

Job description

I am recruiting for an ER Specialist to join a well-established care provider, taking the lead on employee relations across multiple sites. This newly created role will work closely with senior leadership and home managers, providing expert guidance on HR policies, employment law, and ER case management.

Salary: Up to 60,000 DOE

Role: On-site in Harrow / Remote across Care Home sites



Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all employee relations matters, including grievance, disciplinary, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Coach and develop home managers and business support teams in HR best practice.
  • Deliver HR training and workshops to upskill key stakeholders.
  • Work on strategic HR projects including retention, engagement, and Investors in People initiatives.
  • Provide HR support on organisational change and policy development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve HR processes and compliance.


Requirements:

  • Strong experience in employee relations, ideally in a multi-site environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to work at both an operational and strategic level.
  • Experience within the care sector is highly desirable.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites as required.


Remuneration:

Up to 60,000 DOE
