Employee Relations Relationship Manager
Location – Solihull, B91 3QJ. Hybrid with X3 days on site Full Time, 12 Months Fixed Term Competitive Salary
Here at Serco, we are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Relationship Manager to be responsible for the management of suppliers that sit within the Employee Relations (ER) function. This includes overseeing end-to-end supplier management for services such as Occupational Health, Employee Assistance Programme and Absence Management. This role entails product and service delivery, budget management, spend analysis and the creation of a strategic roadmap to enhance the management of unplanned absence and occupational health services.
In this key role you will be expected to proactively support the wider Employee Relations Team with initiatives as well as collaborating closely with the UK & Europe business divisions to drive change initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and improving the day-to-day relationship between Serco operations and its Absence, Health and Wellbeing suppliers.
As part of this you’ll:
- Oversee key projects and the supplier management of Occupational Health, Employee Assistance Programme, and Absence Management
- Manage all sub-contractors through Occupational Health
- Manage an estimated annual budget of £1.2 million for Occupational Health and absence management
- Forecast and analyse monthly spend, meeting agreed supplier budgets
- Drive forward planning / vision and be responsible for the creation and implementation of a 3-5+ year rolling supplier roadmap of improvements and initiatives
- Deliver excellent stakeholder management for a positive customer service experience
- Drive cross functional partnerships across both internal and external areas including Group HR, Health and Safety, Data Protection and Corporate Compliance to ensure successful delivery of services to the business
- Ensure that the ER Team and People Managers (the business) have a comprehensive understanding of services via Occupational Health and Absence Management
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Recognised HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) with Employee Relations experience
- Extensive experience in supplier management and budget management
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and change management
- Ability to manage projects to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria)
- Articulate, confident and a fluent communicator. Ability to use a range of techniques and styles to ensure that communication is timely, clear and effective
- There may be a requirement to attend any of Serco’s premises / locations from time to time
