Qualifications

• Lead and develop ER Specialists with coaching and feedback to build capability.
• Oversee complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policy.
• Monitor ER trends and proactively implement strategies to mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and senior stakeholders to influence ER decisions.
• Drive cultural change initiatives and support organisational projects related to ER.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of ER metrics for leadership review.
• Represent ER in union consultations and negotiations where required.
• Role model company values and maintain team morale during periods of change.
• Influence development of ER policy & tools
• Support the capability upskill of operational manager skills in ER. Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Expert knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage change.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing ER teams and complex cases in a multi-site environment.
• Experience in tribunal management & bundle build
• Confidence in complex TUPE processes

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate ER documentation and reporting for leadership review.
• Support capability upskilling of operational managers in ER.
