A local government council in Great Yarmouth is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant for a six-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role involves supporting managers with employee relations policies, leading casework, and ensuring compliance with UK employment laws. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Employee Relations Consultant to join our team during an exciting period of transformation. This is abackfill role, created to support the team while we balance our day-to-day responsibilities with the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system, including employee self-service functionality.

Crawley is a great place to work, with a thriving business district and excellent transport connections including nearby Gatwick Airport. We are based in our modern Town Hall which opened in 2023 and is located a short walk from the town centre and railway station.

This role is a fixed term contract for six months
This is a hybrid role requiring an onsite presence of up to three days per week. Your contractual base will be the Town Hall; however, you will need to travel between various sites to meet business needs. This may include occasional attendance at our Metcalf Way Depot, Tilgate Park, and other smaller satellite locations.
