Job summary

Ashley Kate HR & Finance is recruiting an Employee Relations Consultant to join the Bexhill HR team. You will partner with leaders, manage a wide range of ER cases, and deliver commercially focused people solutions within a regulated environment.

You’ll coach managers, support organisational change projects, and ensure compliance with UK employment law, while building strong stakeholder relationships to align people decisions with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven ER experience within a regulated or complex organisation.
• Experience managing complex ER cases independently.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
• Experience supporting organisational change and consultations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance commercial priorities with a people-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and conduct.
• Coach and advise managers on policies, procedures and best practice.
• Support organisational change projects, restructures, consultations and redeployment.
• Identify trends and risks through casework and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with leaders to support both commercial and people objectives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal governance requirements.
• Support wider HR initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Are you an experienced ER professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, navigating complex people challenges, and delivering practical, commercially focused HR solutions?

We're recruiting for an ER Consultant to join a busy and evolving HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on coaching managers, managing complex casework, and supporting organisational change within a regulated environment. Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll provide expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters, helping to drive fair, consistent, and legally compliant people decisions.

What you'll be doing
