ER Specialist (You must have extensive employee relations experience)
Location: Luton

Our client, a global Managed Services and Specialist Staffing provider, is looking for an ER Partner to join their growing team. The role involves providing customer-focused, responsive, accurate, and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, employees, and flexible workers, in line with company policies, internal procedures, and legal requirements.
The Business
- Acts as an "ambassador" of the Group, working in line with company culture and values.
- Understands the company brands and their offerings.
- Delivers first-class advisory services on employment and employee relations matters.
- Provides positive customer experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Advice and Guidance:
- Advises managers on Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with best practices, policies, and legislation.
- Manages cases related to disciplinaries, performance, grievances, absence, TUPE, redundancy, and ACAS.
- Builds effective relationships to promote good employee relations.
- Supports client calls and HR queries, referring to colleagues when necessary.
- Maintains up-to-date policies and guidelines.
- Liaises with payroll and HR admin teams for process continuity.
Case Management:
- Handles Employee Relations cases, ensuring timely responses aligned with statutory and company standards.
- Drafts and reviews relevant documentation.
- Supports and advises on various employment sector cases, including ACAS early conciliation.
- Facilitates occupational health referrals and manages query systems.
Technology and HR Systems:
- Maintains accurate HR data and reports.
- Ensures all cases are documented correctly and policies are accessible.
- Manages data in compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
Relationship Management:
- Develops collaborative relationships with managers, HR Business Partners, and colleagues.
- Liaises with HR partners to provide timely support.
Change Management:
- Supports organizational change as a change agent.
- Advises managers on structural changes, employment legislation, and risk mitigation.
- Keeps up-to-date with employment law and HR best practices.
Projects:
- Collaborates with the People team on departmental objectives.
- Reviews and updates Employee Relations materials.
Experience and Skills
- HR advisory background with strong Employee Relations and Employment Law knowledge.
- Experience managing end-to-end Employee Relations cases.
- Confident approach with solid understanding of employment legislation and GDPR.
- Knowledge of HR systems and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience in corporate or professional services sectors, managing diverse employee types.
- Knowledge of TUPE processes and redundancy/restructure management.
