ER Specialist (You must have extensive employee relations experience)
Location: Luton

Salary: 40K
Our client, a global Managed Services and Specialist Staffing provider, is looking for an ER Partner to join their growing team to provide customer-focused, responsive, accurate, and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, employees, and flexible workers in line with company policies, internal procedures, and legal requirements.
The Business
- Acts as an "ambassador" of the Group, working in line with company culture and values.
- Understands the company brands and their unique offerings.
- Works with the business to deliver a first-class advisory service covering employment and employee relations matters.
- Provides a positive customer experience through each advisory interaction throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Advice and Guidance:
- Inform and advise managers on all Employee Relations matters, ensuring compliance with best practices, policies, legislation, and understanding of business needs.
- Manage cases related to discipline, performance, grievances, absence, TUPE, redundancies, and ACAS procedures.
- Develop relationships with the business to promote good employee relations.
- Provide advice and support during client calls and HR queries.
- Maintain and update policies and guidelines, and liaise with payroll and HR admin teams.
Case Management:
- Handle Employee Relations cases end-to-end, ensuring timely responses and compliance with guidelines.
- Draft and review related documentation.
- Support ACAS early conciliation cases and occupational health referrals.
- Manage the shared query system efficiently.
Technology and HR Systems:
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting on HR systems.
- Record and manage cases appropriately, ensuring GDPR compliance.
Relationship Management:
- Develop collaborative relationships with managers and HR colleagues.
- Liaise with HR Business Partners to deliver support.
Change Management:
- Support organizational change initiatives, advising managers on restructuring and change processes.
- Stay updated on employment legislation and HR best practices.
Projects:
- Collaborate with the People team on departmental objectives and review of Employee Relations materials.
Experience and Skills
- Background in HR advisory with strong Employee Relations and employment law knowledge.
- Proven case management experience.
- Knowledge of GDPR, HR systems, and employment legislation.
- Excellent organizational, judgment, and communication skills.
- Experience working in corporate or professional services sectors with various employee types.
- Understanding of TUPE and managing redundancy/restructure programs.
