  • Solid experience managing employee relations in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Strong and current working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust at all levels.

This field-based, 12-month fixed-term contract role covers the South of the UK and places you at the heart of driving fair, consistent, and compliant people practices across the restaurant estate.

You’ll be a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing expert guidance on all employee relations matters while contributing to a culture rooted in respect, development, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance, and appeals
  • Provide expert coaching and support to line managers to ensure fair and consistent outcomes
  • Monitor ER trends and risks, and escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and UK employment legislation
  • Support the development and delivery of ER-related training
  • Produce regular reporting and analysis on ER activity across your region
  • Promote best practices and help strengthen ER capability across the business

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong and current working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust at all levels
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a dynamic, field-based workload
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly across the Southern UK
