Employment Tax Associate - International Law Firm

Pure Search have recently been instructed by an international law firm to find an Employment Tax Associate to join their busy and expanding Employee Incentives & Benefits (EIB) team in London. This role offers substantial independence and excellent opportunities for career progression.

About the Role

This role can be at Associate or Senior Associate level, depending on the experience and skills you bring to the team. As part of the team, your work will exclusively focus on employee incentives and benefits, advising private company clients on matters such as:

  • Tax aspects of corporate transactions related to incentives.
  • Structuring and implementing management incentive schemes, including EMI option plans, growth shares, CSOPs, LTIPs, and associated trust arrangements.
  • Developing cross-border incentive solutions, including the rollout of equity plans across different jurisdictions.
  • Employment tax advisory services covering termination payments and tax-advantaged share plans, including both executive and all-employee schemes.
About You

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A qualified lawyer specialising in tax law and employment taxes, or
  • ACA/CTA certification with professional experience in an employment taxes team at a consulting firm.
  • Expertise in advising on matters succinctly and commercially.
  • A strong background in private company work.
