You’ll be working with key people across our all areas of our organisation to deliver communications which keep our colleagues informed and excited. You’ll provide invaluable support for the development, implementation, and embedding of our Kuehne+Nagel UK-wide engagement plan and strategy, gathering feedback as you go. Not only that, but you’ll support the development and creation of innovative communications, all while reinforcing Kuehne+Nagel’s brand. How you create impact



- Write and edit: provide writing, formatting, proof-reading, and editing service to support the content creation for our national communication channels.
- Production of collateral: Support the delivery of Kuehne+Nagel UK’s initiatives and programmes, relating to colleague engagement. Developing presentations, and engagement collateral in a variety of formats (photographs, videos etc.) to drive our internal culture and align colleagues with our values.
- Support colleague engagement: work with HR to advise on feedback, insight, research and support in developing new messages and methods. Support the delivery of organisational objectives relating to colleague engagement.
- Support preparations for key internal events, taking on a wide range of responsibilities as necessary to ensure the successful delivery.
- Support a variety of stakeholders: Assist stakeholders by supporting in developing engagement materials (such as briefing documents, statements, and FAQs), including any that may be required for external stakeholders.
- Recognise success: supporting the national colleague awards.
- Workshops: manage the organisation of workshops, including scheduling and compiling presentation material.
- Administrative support: manage the purchasing of goods and services, liaising with internal support functions, approved suppliers and wider communications team.
- Work with regional and global teams: liaise with the central Kuehne+Nagel communications team and follow guidance on corporate content.
- Measure and improve: Track our progress and keep our dashboard up-to-date through our relevant tools (e.g. survey tool, focus groups, analytics) to measure how effective communication is, understand what’s working and what needs to improve, and use this to drive improvements.





What we would like you to bring



- Demonstrate strong communication skills coupled with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Creative with excellent copy writing skills (English) for a variety of audiences
- Strong organisational skills along with the ability to collate and analyse data and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable experience as an Employee Engagement Specialist, ideally dealing with a diverse/disparate employee base which includes operational, frontline and functional colleagues
- Positive, self-starter, ambitious, resilient, solutions-focused with a desire to work in employee engagement
- Able to translate complex messages into engaging stories, copy and visuals
- Able to work effectively as an individual and part of a team; creating trust with colleagues
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with creative Adobe packages. A relevant qualification in communications, marketing or journalism (desired but not essential)
- Passion and skills for photography/videography (desired but not essential).
