Job summary

Aon is seeking a Team Leader for the Employee Benefits SME team, with responsibility for a group of consultants across Healthcare and Risk Benefits. The role is hybrid, with options to work from home or from our Leeds or Manchester offices, and involves collaborating with Health executives and client leads to maximise value for clients.

You will drive performance, manage forecasts, and champion development and inclusion while ensuring compliance with UK policies and FCA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams of Employee Benefits consultants.
• Knowledge of Healthcare / Risk Benefits market.

Overview

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team of Employee Benefits Consultants to deliver exceptional client outcomes and outstanding customer experiences. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture rooted in integrity and excellence.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across Aon Health, you’ll ensure the seamless delivery of consultancy and advisory services in the SME Healthcare and Risk Benefits space—maximizing value for clients and optimizing revenue for Aon.

Your Impact as a Team Leader

• Drive Performance & Growth
  • Set, communicate, and allocate revenue and growth targets across your team.
  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts to the Area Director and Health Executive team.
  • Identify and develop high-potential talent within your team.
• Lead with Purpose
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-to-ones, keeping client outcomes at the heart of every discussion.
  • Ensure consultants consistently meet performance expectations and adhere to all Aon UK policies and regulatory requirements.
• Enhance Client Value
  • Collaborate with Client Leads, Strategic Consultants, Sales Consultants, and Proposition Leads to uncover opportunities that enhance client value and expand Aon’s footprint.
  • Champion the full breadth of Aon’s proposition to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Foster Collaboration & Consistency
  • Work with fellow Team Leaders and Area Directors to ensure consistent application of processes across Aon Health.
  • Promote a unified approach across local teams, product lines, and geographic regions.
• Champion Development & Inclusion
