Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a competent account manager to join an existing team. The Enterprise team deals with prospects and clients and manages their employee’s risk benefit policies via telephone, with clients typically having smaller policies or requiring remote communication without face-to-face meetings.

For the aspirational candidate, this opportunity can be a springboard to a broad career path within WTW.

The Role

The Client management team handles prospects and clients, managing their employee’s risk benefit policies via telephone, Microsoft Teams, and occasionally face-to-face meetings. The account manager's purpose is to maintain an existing client portfolio, handle new business inquiries, actively seek new business growth, and maximize product sales to existing and new clients, ensuring renewal and growth targets are met.

As a Group Risk consultant, you will need to:

  • Conduct monthly pre-renewal, renewal, and mid-term calls with existing clients to secure contract renewals.
  • Issue market reviews for contracts undergoing rate reviews, providing appropriate advice based on client demands and needs.
  • Identify key decision-makers within each client and maintain regular contact.
  • Understand compliance and regulatory requirements, including FCA, FOS, DPA, and TCF, especially regarding sales and client service processes.
  • Generate sales leads proactively.
  • Assess and recommend suitable products and services, maintaining high service standards.
  • Use client contacts to gather data, identify business development opportunities, and increase income from each client.
  • Maintain good relationships with insurers and providers for client benefit.
  • Stay updated on market developments and legislative changes affecting WTW’s operations.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
