Job description

We are currently recruiting for a privately owned Chartered Insurance Broker and professional risk advisory business, with offices in the South West and London. They service large quoted companies, privately owned organisations, and wealthy individuals all over the UK and overseas.

They now have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join their Employee Benefits team as an EB Consultant to manage an existing client bank, where you will be managing/retaining a portfolio of SME Group Risk clients across multiple service lines including Group Life, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness You will be responsible for consulting with clients to ensure you find suitable policies to meet the demands and needs of your client. You will help to ensure all client information and files are up to date and accurate. Assisting with bespoke projects along with implementing new administration/sales processes where you see an improvement can be made. Sales support will be required on occasion and a degree of flexibility with your duties will be expected.

To be considered you will need to have experience dealing with Group Risk products in a similar role/environment.

You will also be an enthusiastic, confident communicator with strong customer service values and be able to show demonstrable ability to work under pressure in a varied environment. Knowledge of Acturis broking system would be advantageous, although not essential.

Salary on offer is GBP48-55k dependant on experience plus a new business based bonus. Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, however they offer flexi time, so you can work 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am to 6pm to suit. They also offer a hybrid working environment, with staff able to work from home up to 40 days a year.
