Employee Benefits Consultant

Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £28,000–£35,000 + Bonuses & Benefits

A great opportunity for an experienced Employee Benefits professional to join a supportive, fully remote team. You’ll manage a portfolio of micro and small SME clients, focusing on group risk policies such as Group Life, Income Protection, and Critical Illness. The role involves renewals, policy admin, client retention, and upselling. You’ll also support new business through referrals and cross-selling, while building strong client and insurer relationships. Ideal for someone with 3+ years’ broking or advisory experience and confident phone communication skills. Ongoing training and development offered in an inclusive, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of small SME group risk clients remotely
  • Handle renewals, client reviews, and policy changes
  • Maintain high levels of client retention through excellent service
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Build relationships with providers and support new business via referrals
  • Ensure compliance and accurate reporting
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of group risk experience in a broking/advisory role
  • Good understanding of group risk products
  • GR1 qualified or working towards it
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and client-focused
