We are seeking a talented Employee Benefits Advisor to manage and develop a portfolio of Group Risk and Healthcare clients. You will focus on ensuring clients feel supported at all times, providing advice and recommendations that meet client requirements. Through strong client relationships and business development, you will identify new opportunities and promote the wider Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) proposition to maximize opportunities and achieve growth targets.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, Bristol, Chichester, or Bournemouth, requiring at least three days a week in the office, with an attractive bonus structure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing existing Group Risk and Healthcare client portfolios, providing strategic and quality consulting advice
  • Identifying new opportunities and promoting Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) offerings to maximize revenue
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Providing accurate reports on renewals, market reviews, and recommendations
  • Liaising with internal departments and insurers to ensure excellent client service
  • Delivering high-quality service and advice

Qualifications and experience needed:

  • Experience in Group Risk, Insurance, or Employee Benefits environments with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to identify business needs and align products strategically
  • Self-motivated, confident, and approachable
  • Willingness to travel and meet new people

Preferred qualities:

  • Proven client retention and business development skills
  • Knowledge of employee benefit platforms
