Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of Tutors, driving performance and high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct structured observations of group and 1:1 sessions, providing data-driven feedback.
  • Support Tutors with lesson planning, diary management, and delivery approaches.
  • Promote digital learning and evidence-based content.
  • Facilitate ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) sessions where required.
  • Monitor quality, compliance, and customer records.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues, local networks, and stakeholders.
  • Share best practice across the UK to strengthen consistency and innovation.

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership or management experience, with a track record of achieving results through a team.
  • Experience delivering and evaluating group learning sessions.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the local labour market and specialist support networks.
  • Experience developing and maintaining high professional standards.
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent teaching qualification), Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
  • Recognised Teaching or Training qualification.
  • Knowledge of the employability sector.
