Job summary

Henry Blue is seeking an experienced Employability Tutor to support learners on Job Centre and employment-focused programmes. You will deliver engaging sessions and provide tailored 1:1 support to help individuals build confidence and employability skills.

You will monitor progress, set targets, assess learners, and maintain accurate records while working with colleagues and external partners to achieve positive employment outcomes.

Qualifications

• TAQA, A1 or equivalent Assessing qualification is essential.
• Previous experience delivering employability or adult education programmes.
• Strong communication and learner support skills.
• Experience assessing learners and monitoring progress.
• A genuine passion for supporting individuals into employment

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging employability and job-readiness sessions.
• Provide 1:1 support tailored to individual learner needs.
• Help learners identify and overcome barriers to employment.
• Develop confidence, communication and workplace skills.
• Support learners towards employment, apprenticeships, further training and other progression opportunities.
• Monitor learner engagement, attendance and progress.
• Set appropriate targets and provide ongoing feedback and support.
• Assess learners and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete relevant administration.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to achieve positive outcomes.
