Job summary

RecruitedUK is seeking an Employability Tutor in the UK to provide advice, coaching and mentoring as part of the CFO Evolution programme. You will run regular 1:1 meetings and group sessions to support offenders and marginalised individuals in overcoming barriers to employment.

The role requires empathetic, proactive engagement, strong communication, and the ability to motivate participants through tailored guidance and learning activities. Location is Brough, East Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Experience working with offenders or marginalised individuals.
• Proven ability to plan, facilitate and deliver group sessions or workshops.
• Proven experience supporting individuals to overcome barriers and achieve goals.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Thrives in a target-driven environment.
• Warm, empathetic with ability to build rapport quickly.

Job description

We are recruiting Employability Tutor to offer advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support through regular 1:1 meetings and group sessions as part of the CFO programme. CFO Evolution provides tailored support for offenders, especially those who are disadvantaged, struggle to engage with mainstream services, face barriers to community reintegration, and lack essential life and functional skills needed by employers.

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum

Location: Brough, East Yorkshire

You will:

• Proven experience working with offenders or individuals from marginalised backgrounds.
• Proven experience planning, facilitating and delivering group sessions, workshops or learning activities, with the confidence to engage and motivate participants from a range of backgrounds.
• Experience supporting individuals to overcome barriers and achieve personal, learning or employment goals.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
• Warm, empathetic, and able to quickly build rapport with participants.
