Highland Council is seeking an Employability Key Worker to support a flexible employability service for clients, particularly for Care Experienced and Looked After Young People. This role involves engaging with various partners to facilitate pathways into sustainable work. The position offers a salary between £30,266 and £33,579 per annum for a fixed term of 18 months, requiring at least HND or HNC education.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To support the delivery of a flexible, person-centred employability
service for clients (with priority focus on Care Experienced and Looked After Young
People) which provides pathways into fair and sustainable work to meet emerging local labour market priorities and to tackle in-work poverty.To support the delivery of a quality employability offer which ensures clients receive the services they need to support their positive progression towards and in work.
The provision of these services may be located within a single organisation but are more likely to require the Key Worker to engage with a number of different partners as he/she supports clients to progress towards and in sustained employment..
