Job summary

University College Birmingham is seeking an Employability and Enrichment Assistant in Birmingham. You will work with EHCP students to access enrichment activities, build social and communication skills, and prepare for employment, apprenticeships or further study.

You will collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure inclusive college life, tracking progress and supporting individual development. The role requires proactive organisation, strong communication, and experience supporting learners

Qualifications

• Proactive and well-organised candidate with strong communication abilities.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND or additional needs.
• Passion for improving student outcomes and employability development (CV writing and interview prep).

Responsibilities

• Work with EHCP students to access enrichment activities and build social/communication skills.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams and support services to engage students in college life.
• Track progress and support individual development toward employment, apprenticeships, or further study.
