Qualifications:
Hold GCSE A*-C / 9-4 in English or equivalent (essential)
Hold GCSE A*-C / 9-4 in Maths or equivalent (essential)
Hold a teaching qualification, ideally to Level 5 or willingness to work towards
Casual Car Documentation: The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User, meaning car journeys may be necessary occasionally, but are not essential. You must hold a full valid driving license, provide your own car, and all appropriate documentation. An allowance per mile of business use will be provided.
DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance: This post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will need to apply for an Enhanced DBS check. All information will be dealt with confidentially and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice. We have a policy on the employment of ex-offenders, available upon request.
