A leading organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children seeks a qualified professional to provide therapeutic interventions for young people affected by domestic violence. This role involves collaborating with various professionals to enhance mental health and wellbeing support, aiming to empower children and improve their resilience. Permanent position with a provisional end date for funding of 31/03/2025.
37-hour contract.
Salary: £29,855 per annum.
Locations: Halton / co-locating with Halton Borough Council
The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are most vulnerable and in need of help. We’re there for children, every step of the way.
The post holder will support children and young people affected by domestic violence by offering therapeutically informed interventions as part of The Children’s Society’s clinically informed youth work workforce.
The role involves developing relationships with professionals across organizations and service providers to enhance emotional, mental health, and wellbeing support, aiming to increase resilience and empower children and young people to manage their mental health.
Experience
Qualifications
Good IT skills are required due to the fast-paced environment and the use of computers for clinical record-keeping.
The Children’s Society runs over 100 local services supporting thousands of young people and campaigns for policy changes to improve children’s lives.
