Job summary

Cummins is seeking an enthusiastic eMobility Service Engineering Student to join our Accelera team in Milton Keynes for a placement commencing Summer 2027. The role requires onsite presence for at least 3 days a week, with you able to travel or relocate to the location.

During the placement you will design, develop and produce service tools, procure parts, support prototype High Voltage battery builds and teardowns, create electrical diagrams, and use PLM, CAD and MATLAB to access drawings and

Qualifications

• Studying a STEM degree with a focus on Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Practical experience with EVs, batteries or engines is preferred.
• Good MS Office and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and production of service tools and publications.
• Procurement of parts and coordination with suppliers for prototype builds.
• Create electrical diagrams and use CAD for prototypes.
• Use PLM to access part drawings and 3D models.
• Analyze data with MATLAB and interpret engineering drawings.
