Job summary

G MASS is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Consultant to join client-facing engagements with banks and financial institutions. You will map reporting obligations under EMIR and MiFIR, trace data lineage across multiple source systems, and translate regulatory requirements into concrete data requirements.

The role combines hands-on business analysis with project management to drive complex, multi-month transformations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on business analysis experience within regulatory reporting, gained within financial services or with a platform or vendor serving the sector.
• Strong understanding of EMIR and MiFIR reporting requirements and practical implementation.
• Demonstrable data mapping expertise tracing attributes across source systems to a target specification.

Responsibilities

• Act as the business analyst and project lead on implementation engagements, working alongside client teams.
• Establish and document client reporting obligations and current reporting across EMIR and MiFIR.
• Analyse client data across multiple source systems to trace attribute origins and data flow.
• Map the client data landscape to the reporting specification, identifying gaps and sourcing needs.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical data requirements for delivery teams.
• Plan and drive engagement, track progress, and manage dependencies to keep to schedule.
• Lead or co-lead engagement sessions with client stakeholders across operations, technology, and compliance.
• Produce clear mapping documentation, business requirements, and supporting analysis for client and internal use.
• Support testing and validation of reporting outputs ahead of go-live.
