West Northants Council is seeking a Highways and Transport Planner at the start of your career to grow within the Transport Planning team and shape transport across West Northamptonshire. We provide on the job training and the opportunity to develop professional skills and knowledge.

You will investigate transport trends, support the Local Transport Plan delivery, help develop evidence to support the West Northamptonshire Local Plan and regeneration plans for Northampton town centre.

Competenze

• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Strong report writing and presentation abilities.
• Experience in local government is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Support the development and delivery of the Local Transport Plan.
• Investigate and evaluate transport trends and best practice to inform transport policy.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders as part of a busy Highways Department.
• Develop analytical, presentation and report writing skills during delivery of projects.
