Job summary

IBM Consulting is offering an undergraduate placement in London for eligible UK students. The role focuses on supporting client transformation projects with exposure to AI, data, cloud and automation technologies.

Mentors and a strong professional network accompany you throughout the placement year. You will gain hands-on experience from day one, with opportunities to learn, grow and eventually apply for graduate roles within IBM.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled on an undergraduate degree programme at a UK university.
• Be on track to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree classification.
• Be due to graduate in 2029 and return to university for final year.
• Be able to commute to London or Manchester office at least 3 days a week.
• Right to work in the UK on a full-time basis for the duration of the placement.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of client transformation projects and programmes.
• Analyse business challenges and help identify innovative solutions.
• Participate in client workshops, stakeholder meetings and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
• Conduct research and turn insights into recommendations.
• Explore how AI, automation and cloud can transform client work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across business, strategy and technology.
