Job summary

SGN in the UK is recruiting an Emerging Talent Advisor to lead early careers programmes across SGN locations. You will coordinate learning initiatives, manage delivery using Cornerstone LMS, and engage internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality talent development.

The role requires experience in apprenticeship or graduate programme management, strong communication, and the ability to drive multiple projects on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of apprenticeship and/or graduate programme management within a highly compliant industry
• Able to effectively communicate and liaise with stakeholders at varying levels, work to tight deadlines, prioritise varying workloads and project manage several projects simultaneously
• Ability to identify issues proactively and ensure the situation is resolved as a priority
• Experience of funded learning programmes – i.e. DoE/SDS funding regulations and apprenticeship frameworks/standards
• Proficient with all Microsoft office packages

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the implementation of the emerging talent strategy across SGN UK locations, providing practical and strategic advice, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders to ensure talent programmes are effectively delivered
• Continually review the talent development cycle, experience, and processes – responsible for the effective implementation of quality, strategic, and programme delivery improvement plans
• Be responsible for learning and skills delivery of emerging talent activities across all SGN locations, using Cornerstone LMS and training partners
• Positively manage relationships with internal and external training suppliers, colleges, universities, professional bodies, and internal SMEs/stakeholders
• Manage individual and programme learning & skills progression throughout the programme duration, offering advice and pastoral support to our emerging talent community
• Work with the wider People Directorate to support early talent recruitment campaigns, including school events, careers fairs, and assessment days
• Manage the design, coordination, and delivery of emerging talent induction programmes

Salary: £35.9 - £44.4k per annum (Dependent on skills & experience)

We are looking for an Emerging Talent Advisor to join us in our Emerging Talent Team. You will identify, develop and deliver early careers focused programmes of learning across SGN UK locations. You will play an integral part in the development of SGN’s future talent community. What You’ll Need

Travel between regions & academic providers will be necessary, therefore a full, clean driving license and use of personal vehicle is required
