Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) for secondary schools in Corby. Roles include long-term placements across KS3/KS4 with potential for progression to permanent positions. Flexible day-to-day supply also available, focusing on building strong teacher-student relationships.

Ideal candidates will have or be completing UK QTS in 2026, a PGCE or ECT status, and strong subject knowledge with excellent communication. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Hold or be completing UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 2026.
• Completing a PGCE or are Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to student progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4; KS5 where relevant.
• Take on full classroom responsibilities and support student progress.
• contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities.
• Build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and assess student progress.
