About the job

This role involves managing a portfolio primarily consisting of Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs), including funds, asset managers, insurance companies, and broker-dealers. Depending on experience, the portfolio may also include some Bank counterparties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Counterparty risk management: Conduct detailed credit analysis of financial information, liaise with clients to validate data, and manage the end-to-end credit risk process, including credit limit assessments and risk ratings.
  2. Transaction risk assessment: Analyze new and existing transactions, especially in global markets, commodities, derivatives, and loans. Support the Front Office with ad-hoc requests and apply delegated authority for approvals.
  3. Portfolio management: Monitor the creditworthiness of the portfolio, maintain relevant data, and oversee customer position reporting, including limit excesses and stress testing.
  4. Internal collaboration: Coordinate with Legal, Operations, Compliance, Market/Country Risk, Front Office, and Management teams.
  5. Team and project support: Participate in projects, support relationship management efforts, and assist the Head of Financial Institutions Credit Risk.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in a regulated environment, preferably in Financial Services.
  • At least 2 years of credit analysis experience, ideally with funds or NBFIs.
