You may support pupils 1:1, in small groups, or provide general classroom assistance. Experience in education, especially with SEN, is advantageous, and you will be part of a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or graduate with a relevant degree.
• Previous experience in a school is desirable.
• Experience supporting children or young people is highly desirable.
• Interested in developing a career in education.
• Confident, reliable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Patient, adaptable and able to support pupils with a range of needs.
• SEN experience would be an advantage.
• Able to work effectively as part of a school team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis.
• Work with small groups or provide general classroom support.
• Support pupils with SEN, behaviour and learning needs as required.
